Ok guys it pains me To make this review I been coming here since my son was a baby and we just came for dinner to celebrate his graduation for 3rd grade So 3 day ago I made a reservation for my family at 7:00 for 8 people we arrived and was told we was be seated soon it was super busy and trust me I understand we waited 27mims to be seated Not a problem they sat us and we waited about 20 mins with no drinks or menus I flagged down one of the managers and Told him we was thirsty it was hot and we would like drinks at least he got us a waiter and took order she told us 4 servers for the whole restaurant because 3 people quit What ever I though so we put are orders in at Same time we ordered drinks we put food order in at same time to help and save time we was at about 7:54 at this time we got are drinks about 10 min after no problem we got are soups and salads so we got 3 cowboys and a kids meal Each cowboy is for 2 people So it went down hill from here chef came we noticed he was in a hurry I under stand it was busy That’s fine the faster we eat the better Food was ok and by ok I mean a 6 out of 10 Shrimp was over cooked and steak was over cooked still no problem we stared to eat he forgot are dips I reminded him then he finished cooking And have in mind some people in our party ordered steam rice and fried rice and they still haven’t received their steamed rice after all the protein have been cooked but then again I had to look for a manager and have them bring us the sting rice for the other people in our party The manager bring it meanwhile we haven’t seen our waiter since the first time she dropped off our drinks and took the order . We eat and she comes and access if you need a refill and all of our drinks have been hot and watery because we’ve been sitting there for a long while at this point what ever the next time we only see her was to drop off the bill it’s was about $390ish that includes the 18% gratuity Keep in mind I also tipped our chef $25 at this point because I know it’s hard to cook like that I told her to call the manager to remove the gratuity because I don’t feel comfortable paying 18% for something I was not satisfied manager came and said that’s how they live. I understand that but if they literally not there and service is being diminished because of how busy they are that’s not my fault I shouldn’t have to pay for that I told him to take off the gratuity of 18% and I’ll leave her a tip of my room because she fell short in so many ways he told me that how much am I gonna leave her? I told him that’s up to me. I’ll leave her a tip. I said you have to tell me like I don’t have to tell you Keep in mind. This is the manager that runs his place. His name is Tommy and I have seen him and spoke to him many times in the past when I would be there. He walked away and she came back telling me I need to cash out 10% to the cook I told him OK I’ll leave you a tip but don’t make a scene she literally was raising her voice. We’re at the table. Making a scene very embarrassing. I got up and went to the manager and he started acting the same way. I told him I’ve been coming here for 10 years and you’re gonna act like this. You know it’s not right. Tell me if you don’t leave tip do not come back at home. I’m going to leave a tip of my willing You’re telling me to do. I have to ask the bus boy to pick up plates. I had to ask a manager to bring the food so on and so forth long story long they lost a customer that will go there and bring people for business parties, birthday parties, anniversaries, and just to eatif they want to establishment like this I don’t think it will...
Read moreWent with some friends and occupied about 1/2 of the table, sat with another group of people. The first half of the experience was wonderful. My issue is with how the cook handled a mix-up with the food orders.
I ordered steak and calamari. He starts cooking and I guess somewhere along the way he got mixed up because two of us had meat go to the person to our left. Thankfully within our own group of people. The first issue was corrected by the two individuals by just putting meat from one plate to another. However, when my calamari was put onto the plate of the person to my left, it was already chopped up before being served and in the midst of the entertainment and conversation of it all, it was mixed up with all his other food. A few moment later we realized there had been a mistake and the cook was not proactive or apologetic in any way. It was frankly very uncomfortable. He said “do you still want calamari?” And I said yes. He just stared at me and I said “are you expecting me to pick it off of his plate or are you making more?” And he just looked at me very annoyed for several seconds. The whole vibe immediately shifted. He proceeded to ask the waitress to bring more calamari and continued but it was clear he was irritated. He then did the egg-toss bit and when he came to me, lastly, he said “no I’m not doing it for you” and then played it off as if he was joking when I was clearly irritated by his behavior. I told him I didn’t want to do it and he tossed egg at me anyways. The whole experience post-calamari-debacle was tense, passive aggressive, and overall uncomfortable. Everyone at the table, even the other group, noticed it.
What if that person to my left was not in our group? He has been stirring his food all together with a fork he was already eating off of. And it was just bad customer service at the end of the day.
Take accountability for your mistake(s), and make them right without making your customer feel like an i...
Read moreBecause this place has so much too offer this will be a lengthy review but reference the key points below. SUSHI - Plating is fantastic, sushi is always fresh and flavorful. HIBACHI - Great eats in both dine-in area and actual hibachi show. Always entertaining and cooked perfectly BAR/DRINKS - Usually very good but tend to be pricy and kind of weak in terms of ABV. SERVICE - 10/10 always friendly and prompt all you could ask for!
This place is fantastic and a true master of their craft. The sushi is my favorite and is always super fresh and flavorful. I've ordered 1 roll, I've order 8+ rolls with a large group. The first thing that you will notice is the plating its honestly artistic and super clean. Everything is seasoned perfectly, decorated with true grace and flare. The hibachi is a true knock out, I've ordered both from the dine-in area as well as the actual hibachi show with friends. Watching these guys skillfully entertain and cook meals to perfection is truly a wonder to see that leaves me laughing and glad I came every single time. I would say the weakest part of this place is the bar/drinks, they have a plentiful selection but the actual bar area is just crammed into the corner as soon as you walk in. I've ordered a variety of drinks from beer to cocktails, have had a couples of times were the beer is warm or when ordering cocktails it'll come out one way the first time then next round its done differently even though its the same drink. On top of that they tend to be fairly pricey compared to what your getting. The final star is service, everyone here is very friendly and prompt from management to hibachi chefs to dine in wait staff. I've never had any issues with them. All in all I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quick bite, dinner and a show or just to have a good time out with...
